The SEC isn’t the only big conference tournament beginning today. The Big Ten Conference Tournament has already started at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Big Ten Tournament includes 11 teams with three opening round games today. The winners move on to the quarterfinals on Friday. The semifinals are on Saturday and the championship is held on Sunday.
For your sports betting, Ohio State (29-2, 16-2 Big Ten) is the tournament favorite, the No. 1 seed and a likely top seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes have three Big Ten titles, including 2010, which is more than any other school in the conference. Purdue (25-6, 14-4) is the No. 2 seed and has won this tournament in 2009 for its only Big Ten title. Wisconsin (23-7, 13-5) is the third seed and is a two-time Big Ten champion, the last of which coming in 2008. The next two days’ schedule is below:
