The Western and Southern Financial Group Masters, also known as the Cincinnati Masters, will feature the best tennis players in the world with Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Roger Federer this week. Murray won his first tournament of the year last week at the Rogers Cup, beating Federer in the final. Both will give Nadal a run for his money in Cincinnati and garner plenty of betting action.

Nadal heads up the betting markets for the Cincinnati Masters despite losing to Murray in straight sets in the Rogers Cup semifinal. Still, Nadal has been on point all season and you won’t get any deals from bookmakers for the Spaniard to take his fourth Masters title of the season. This year, he eclipsed a record 18 ATP 1000 Masters tournament wins once held by Andre Agassi. Nadal is human on hard courts though, so his odds suggest a decent lay option.

Murray isn’t far behind Nadal in the odds to take the Cincinnati Masters. He ended a slump by winning in Montreal last week. Impressively, the Scot beat Nadal and Federer in straight sets en route to the championship. Murray is getting better as the season progresses and he will want to make up for lost time. He’s an excellent each-way bet for the tournament that pays out to second place.

Federer is also getting back on form after beating Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the Rogers Cup before losing in the final. He isn’t known for peaking at season’s end, but Federer is the defending Cincinnati Masters champion so he should have plenty to prove in this tennis tournament. He has some great each-way value, just like Djokovic. Juan Martin del Potro is recovering from wrist surgery so that leaves Djokovic as a possible title contender. He has one win this season, but could upset in Cincinnati or reach the final. Longshots include Robin Soderling who has been consistent lately and Wimbledon runner-up Tomas Berdych.
