Amidst all the action of the World Cup, the British Grand Prix will also be held on Sunday. Britain’s top Formula 1 drivers will compete on their home turf with some of the best competitors from around the world.

Sebastien Vettel heads up the odds in the British Grand Prix after winning the European Grand Prix. The German could take the lead in the Drivers Championship since Silverstone has been kind to him in the past. Vettel won the last British Grand Prix as he competes in his third appearance at Silverstone on Sunday. He is too low for an each-way bet, but back him straight with your online gambling if you have faith in him.

Lewis Hamilton will be in his element on Sunday at Silverstone. The Brit has placed in the last three races and leads the Drivers Championship standings. Hamilton has raced three times in the British Grand Prix, resulting in a podium finish, a win and a 16th place finish in 2009. Mark Webber has been off the last two races which has made him slip from first in the championship to fourth. His best finish at the British Grand Prix came in 2009 where he took second. He finished 8th or higher in all seven of his races prior to that. He’s a safe lay bet since his odds of winning aren’t great. For those who backed Jenson Button each way in the last two races, he has provided some nice payouts. Bookies still have him overpriced as another great each-way option for making the top three racers for the third race in a row.
