Recently, I posted some betting tips as a preview for the Premier League season. I have some more tips for you as we draw closer to the curtain opening on the season. Here you can find tips on the league winner, top goalscorer, relegation and the highest scoring team.

It is always wise to follow the money with online betting such as this and there is no shortage of cash at Manchester City this year. They spent big and have the strongest squad with huge bonuses and a sold out stadium every week. Manchester City could shock the world this season and win the Premier League.

Didier Drogba scored 29 times in 32 games last season for Chelsea. His 90% strike rate was only matched by Fernando Torres of Liverpool, who scored 18 goals in 22 games. Torres will need to play nearly perfect to catch up with Drogba and the high-powered offense of Chelsea though. Liverpool doesn’t look to match up.

Even though it’s early, there are some clubs with great odds to be relegated by season’s end. Blackpool already had manager issues before even taking the field. West Bromwich Albion (WBA) will have to play exceptionally well to avoid joining Blackpool. A third team relegated could be Wigan, who doesn’t look competitive enough this season to make an impact.

Chelsea carries top odds to be the highest scoring Premier League team after scoring 103 goals last season. It’s an easy call by bookmakers since Chelsea has 17 more goals than next in line Manchester United and 20 more than Arsenal. Manchester City could make a run with all the new, expensive talent and Arsenal beefed up on the front line this season, but it’s hard to imagine any other team than Chelsea taking it.
