Since this ACC was just covered, it’s only fitting to cover conference rival SEC. The Southeastern Conference Tournament begins today in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia.

It’s also a 12-team tournament with the four opening round games today in an East vs. West matchup. The four winners from today face the top four teams in the quarterfinals on Friday. The semifinals are on Saturday with the final on Sunday. The seeding is a bit different since they are separated into the top six East and West teams. Based on division finish, the top two teams get an opening round bye.

The three favorites to win the SEC Tournament come from the East for your online betting. Kentucky (22-8, 10-6 SEC) is the tournament favorite and the No. 2 seed from the East. The Wildcats have won an astounding 26 SEC Tournaments, the most of any school in the conference, and is the defending conference champion. Florida (24-6, 13-3) won the division and is the No. 1 seed from the East. The Gators have won three SEC Tournaments, the last coming in 2007. Vanderbilt (21-9, 9-7) is third in the outright tournament odds and is the third seed from the East. Vanderbilt has only one SEC Tournament title, from 1951.
