Just like the A-10, the Mid-American Conference Tournament begins tonight. The games end Saturday at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

The MAC Tournament includes 12 teams and the bottom eight seeds play tonight at 7 p.m. in the first round at campus sites. The four winners play the top four seeds in Cleveland beginning on Thursday in the quarterfinals with the title game on Saturday.

Kent State (21-10, 12-4 MAC) leads the outright odds to win the tournament but nothing is a sure thing in college basketball. Other teams with shorts odds to win include Western Michigan (19-11, 11-5) and Miami (Ohio) (16-15, 11-5).

Kent State is the No. 1 seed after winning the regular season title and has won the tournament five times, the last being 2008. Western Michigan won the MAC West and won this tournament in 2004 for its only tournament title in school history. Miami finished a game shy of Kent State in the MAC East and has won this tournament four times, the last being 2007.
