The Formula One season heads north this weekend with the Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on Sunday. Sebastian Vettel is the favorite after winning each the Turkish Grand Prix, Spanish Grand Prix and Monaco Grand Prix in his last three races.
Vettel is in a class above the rest in 2011 with a 58-point lead at first in the standings. He has been nearly perfect for sports bettors this year, winning five of six Formula One races. Other than the wins mentioned above, Vettel won the Australian Grand Prix, Malaysian Grand Prix and finished second in the Chinese Grand Prix. He finished fourth here last year but his current form has him as the easy favorite.
Lewis Hamilton is second in the odds and second in the point standings. He is the only other driver to win a race this season. He won the Canadian Grand Prix in 2007 and 2010.
Mark Webber is third in the odds with Fernando Alonso. Webber is third in the point standings and has finished in the top five of each race, but is winless through six. He hasn’t won this race in his career but finished fifth last year.
